My Outdoor Thermometer of Doom

My outdoor thermometer of doom is attached to my bike and is thus on my somewhat covered balcony. It presently records 111 F. This is not the scientific air temperature (I don't have a black hood for it etc.)...the closest reliable station records 98 F. Did I mention that the air conditioning in my building is broken?
