Deletions
Normally, I don't update the links page unless I mention someone in the course of an entry. Normally, I don't remove links either. However, I have decided that I will remove links that no longer go to content. Therefore, I've taken Expectations off the sidebar. However, let me take this occasion to give my congratulations to Lucas Grubbs, who will be ordained to the Sacred Order of Priests on Saturday. For more Lucas Grubbs madness, go here....

I love Texas and I love Texans. In what other state in the Union do Pre-Revolutionary Appalachian culture and Evangelical Victorianism co-exist so amusingly and yet so frighteningly? Oh, the stories I could tell...
And that's why I'm so glad to link to two Abilene-area bloggers, both communicants at the Church of the Heavenly Rest. ACU Episcochick is just worth reading to see her profile image and serves as a portal into the Xanga-filled world of young Episcopalians (Warning: Enter at your own risk.) And Jared Cramer gives a thoughtful perspective on his life and Anglican doings from a perspective partially shaped by being raised in "the Church of Christ (a capella)."
Scotist is back! And with him came a great discussion about the key issue of the next few months: what is to be done in Columbus? Thanks to a little more Lenten discipline, I've been feeling more inclined to the promotion of Christian fundamentals (the Anglican variety). This attracted the attention of the Postulant.
The Postulant, like *Christopher, seems to be one of those Christians that confounds the wisdom of the world.
Until next time, the Holy Brothers pray that you may be strengthened in the wisdom (not of the world) but in the wisdom that empowered Christ to come among us and be crucified, which the world accounts foolishness.

Caelius,
Thanks for the updates. I read through Ember Days. I'm liking what I read. It's good to know I'm not some oddity.
And thanks for noting Jared. I've been meaning to add him. Hope you don't mind me mining your new additions?
Thanks for the note. :-)
*Christopher--
No problem.
Jared--
You're welcome.
