CS: So you're an actor?
NA: Well, I majored in religious studies.
CS: Oh, I know a lot of religious studies majors from my time at [alma mater].
NA: Yeah, alma mater has a good divinity program. But I'm trying acting out, but I could do religious studies again, probably teach.
CS: Really? What are your research interests?
NA: Well, my thesis was about reconciliation and the Anglican Communion...
CS: Um, I'm going to have to keep myself from talking to you for the rest of the night.
Anyway, NA may show up at ILEOS. We ended up talking Christology and Job for a while. And he's read Countryman's Dirt, Greed, and Sex . But I tuckered myself out dancing. It was a party, after all.
