Happy Anniversary, Gentlemen

I decided to look at recent updates to Louis Crew's fine collection of materials related to the life of ECUSA, "Do Justice." Crew linked to a rather remarkable biography of two guys who met at Trinity College in 1955 and celebrated their 50th anniversary (at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine) this year. It's a story of love, family, and faith over the last fifty years. And it contains some very wise advice about the dynamics of fratrimony (and matrimony). Warning: It contains some New England snobbery, which is characteristic of some people from my ancestral diocese. On the other hand, Episcopal churches south of South of the Border can be as they describe. But so can churches north of the Mason-Dixon Line.

O King of the Nations, both Their Desire and Their Cornerstone, who makes each thing one. Come and save mankind, whom you formed from the dust.
